Jan White is a proud survivor/thriver, of Stage IV Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. She is also President of Meetings by Design, a business meetings and special events company.

After completing treatment in 2016, she felt a strong calling to raise her voice in support of cancer patients and their families. To that end, she became a legislative advocate with American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).  In 2018, she expanded her service and became a member of the American Cancer Society’s Delaware Leadership Council and also now serves as Delaware’s State Lead Ambassador for ACS CAN.   

On June 7, 2020, National Cancer Survivors Day, she launched Jan Says Onward. She splits her time between running Meetings by Design and raising her voice.

An experienced public speaker, Jan is married to her dearest friend, Michael, and is proudly called Mom by their son, Ethan.  In addition to the business, Jan enjoys theatre, travel, hiking, American Revolution re-enacting and living life with her family and friends. 

Her mantra, then and now, is “Onward!”.
